It was largely due to chance and the influence of my brother who had joined fencing in JC, that I joined HCI’s fencing club. I never thought that fencing would become such an important part of my life. Starting out was not easy, because fencing was an entirely new sport to me. I soon developed a deep passion for fencing and worked extremely hard at it. Under the guidance from my seniors and coaches, I achieved great results. My hard work did pay off indeed. This would never have been possible without the help of Absolute Fencing, especially their dedicated coaches and inspiring seniors, supporting me in every way possible. Joining ABF was a life-changing decision, not only because of fencing, but also because of the amazing people there that have inspired me in different ways. I hope that I will be able to continue fencing and believe that I will learn much more in this journey.
